Appointments

The majority of appointments need to be made by telephone or online. To book online, you will need to get a password. Please ask at reception; you will need to have some photo identification with you.

Our appointments are mainly book on the day with the doctor to enable sufficient appointments for emergencies. However there are some pre bookable appointments available for people who are working or are not in a hurry to see the doctor, but these do get taken quickly

Clinic appointments for the nurses are by appointment only.

Patients are expected to keep all appointments where possible. Notice of cancellation should be given, where appropriate, as soon as possible. Not turning up is a waste of both the Doctor and Nurse's valuable clinic time. We are now sending letters to patients that do not attend for their appointment and this may result in removal from the practice list.

We remind patients only to attend Accident and Emergency if it is a true emergency. Many minor illnesses can be dealt with in the surgery by either the doctor or the nurse. Please ring the surgery first.

Patients can now contact the surgery online. You will need to register for this service. Once registered you will be able to book appointments or send details of why you would like to see the Doctor and the doctor can communicate with you during surgery hours. It may be that an appointment is not needed and that the Doctor can resolve your query during the email process.
