Meet the staff
Dr S. K. Naeem MBBS DFFP (General Practitioner)
Dr Naeem joined us as a salaried GP in August 2014. He is now our single GP in the surgery. He is able to do minor surgery and joint injections. He is able to speak four languages English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr Naeem is specialising in musculoskeletal disorders.
Michelle Roberts (Practice Manager)
Michelle joined us as a receptionist/administrator in December 2019. She has worked previously in GP surgeries and has brought that expertise with her. Michelle took over the role of Practice Manager in April 2022.
Lynne Palmer (Advanced Nurse Practitioner)
Lynne joined us in May 2022 as our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Lynne qualified in 2003 as a RGN adults Higher Diploma. She started her career as a scrub nurse in general theatres and has had multiple roles within the NHS. Prior to joining us she was Senior practice nurse at a small surgery in Scunthorpe where she began her masters training for ANP role which was completed at Ashby Turn December 2020 and successfully achieved her masters in April 2021. Within this time she has also achieved her Bsc degree in nursing as a top up from Higher Diploma. Lynne is also a qualified mentor for nursing students and has qualifications in cervical smear taking, spirometry, contraception, diabetes. Is trained in practice nurse duties to effectively perform Venipuncture, ECG, child vaccinations, travel vaccinations. She can also manage hypertension and pain management and all forms of acute care including asthma and COPD within the role of ANP.
Christine Jenkins (Practice Nurse)
Christine joined us in May 2021 as our Practice Nurse. Christine has many years experience as a practice nurse and is trained to effectively perform venipuncture, ECG, child vaccinations, travel vaccinations and cervical screening.
Debbie French (Dispenser)
Debbie joined us in September 2019 and works in dispensary, filling prescriptions, ordering and maintaining stock levels. She has worked in other surgeries before joining us and is a NVQ level 2 qualified dispenser in dispensing services.
Peta Crawford (Dispenser and Receptionist)
Peta joined the surgery in July 2014 and has brought with her a wealth of experience from her previous surgery. She is a NVQ level 3 qualified dispenser and a welcome addition to the team.
Della Jeffrey (Receptionist and Administrator)
Della joined us as a receptionist/administrator in April 2018. She was new to working in a GP surgery at the time.
Amanda Clark (Receptionist and Administrator)
Amanda joined us in May 2022 as a receptionist/administrator. She previously worked as a college lecturer and is new to working in a GP surgery.
Mandy Scott (PCN Care Coordinator)
Mandy joined us in April 2022 as our PCN Care Coordinator. Within her role Mandy will be our over 75 champion, cancer champion and our dementia champion.
Helen Bevan (Cleaner)
Helen is our cleaner. She has been with the surgery several years.
